Bonnie Burkert is a veteran music industry professional, specializing in visual marketing via the digital channels. Bonnie has worked with superstar acts including Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Beastie Boys, Bjork, Robbie Williams, The Cure, Sarah Brightman and Duran Duran at major labels Capitol, Rhino, Sony, Elektra and Arista.
While in executive roles at Rhino Entertainment and Sony BMG's Global Digital Business Group, Bonnie handled client relations with prominent accounts such as iTunes, YouTube, Yahoo and Verizon. She set product standards for international sales, managing the details of strategic deal terms, music + image licensing, and specialized content deliveries on digital releases such as Led Zeppelin, Frank Sinatra and #1 soundtrack for the hit film Juno.
BB has also worked in producer roles while at Capitol Records, handling video production logistics, budgets and talent and content clearances for MTV and VH1 broadcasts, including the MTV Movie Awards and VH-1Behind The Music. Major premiere initiatives included The Beatles Anthologies and major soundtrack cross-promotions such as Trainspotting.
An ace communicator and product manager, Bonnie expertly finessed projects through the corporate entertainment divisions of Best Buy Enterprises Sony Music’s Global Digital Business Group, securing promotions such as tour sponsorships with Microsoft and Live Nation.
BB’s European upbringing and experience working as an executive in the Caribbean resort business offers a worldly perspective for tailoring campaigns into different markets.
Bonnie also parlays personal passions into the wellness industry, with marketing projects in natural foods, cannabis and yoga.
